Hairy Beardtongue

Penstemon hirsutus

Lavendar or pink with a white throat and a hairy tongue, usually tan in color. The stem is also hairy-woolly (faintly visible in picture at left).

1-2 feet, sun, partial shade.

Early Summer (June-July).
