Tall Bellflower

Campanula americana

The striking blue, five-petaled trumpet-like flowers are borne on a tall vertical stalk--unmistakable in the woods.

2-6 feet, partial sun or light shade.

Summer (June-August).

The styles (thread holding the three-pronged stigma) are curved.
