Long-leaved Bluets

Houstonia longifolia

Despite the name, the flowers of this small plant consists of 4 petals that are usually white or very pale lavender.  Leaves are ovate-pointed, smooth-edged, and attached to the stem.  Each stem produces 2 or 3 small tubelike flowers.

Less than 1 foot, sun - partial sun.

Spring-Summer (May-September).
