Silene stellata

The five white petals are finely dissected on the outer edge. Leaves small, lanceolate, often in whorls of 4 (lower left in photo to left).

2-4 feet, shade or semi-shade.

Summer (July-September).

Calyx green, slender--not heavily veined or inflated as with Bladder Campion.
