Shrubby Cinquefoil     

Potentilla fruticosa

Bushy plant with often woody lower stems; the pinnate leaves, unlike those of most cinquefoils, are untoothed. Flowers yellow, large (1 inch or more), petals round.

1-3 feet, sun. Prefers moist locations.

Summer-Autumn (June-October).

Note leaflets, which are entire (not toothed).
