Wild Lupine

Lupinus perennis

Flowers in blue and white typical of the pea family appear on a vertical spike rising from a mass of palmate leaves.  Each compound leaf has up to 9 leaflets forming an open fan up to 3-4 inches across.  

1-2 feet, sun - partial sun.

Spring-Summer (April-July).
