Common Fleabane (Philadelphia Fleabane)
Erigeron philadelphicus
There are several species of Erigeron. This one, the most common, has small flowers (3/4 inch or less) with 100-300 very fine ray flowers around a yellow disk; the rays may be white, pink, or lavendar. Stems are slightly hairy and leaves lanceolate, untoothed, and clasping stem (see at bottom of photo to left).
1-3 feet, sun or partial sun.
Spring-Early Summer (April-July).
Flowers sometimes pink or lavendar.
