Great Lobelia

Lobelia siphilitica

Handsome spikes of deep-blue flowers with typical lobelia form (two narrow spikes above, three broader lower 'lips'); lower lobes striped with white.  Leaves large near base (up to 8 inches long), pointed at both ends, without long stalks, smooth-edged.

1-3 feet, sun.
